• Reporter, Finger Lakes Community Newspapers, Ithaca, NY June 2008–present
Conceive and write news and feature articles for four small communities, covering everything from town meetings to art exhibitions. Take photos to accompany articles. Also, contribute to special sections of parent company, Ithaca Times.

• Accent Editor (Arts and Entertainment), The Ithacan, Ithaca College Fall 2007–Spring 2008
Conceived and assigned stories for the features, arts and entertainment section of the college’s award-winning weekly student newspaper. Worked with a staff of 30 writers, edited copy, wrote headlines, designed pages using InDesign software and conceived and created multimedia features. Responsible for Arts and Entertainment postings to The Ithacan’s “South Hill” blog.

• Editorial Intern, The Art Newspaper, New York City Summer 2007
Provided editorial support, contacted museum press offices and compiled research for special projects at the New York office of an international newspaper covering the art world. Wrote short news briefs for publication.
